This policy covers UPrint RIP software. Printing systems, consumables and training are covered separately by our Warranty & Terms.
1. Try it before you buy
We offer a 3 day free trial of the full software on request. Not a cut down demo: the same build paying customers get, running on your own machine with your own artwork and your own press.
The trial exists so nobody has to buy first and find out afterwards. We strongly recommend using it. Ask through the contact form and we will send you a trial code.
2. After you buy
The software is delivered immediately: you receive an order code and a download link by email, and the code activates the software on your computer. Because delivery is immediate and a free trial is available beforehand, we do not offer change of mind refunds once a licence has been issued.
3. When we do refund
We will refund you in full in these cases:
- You were charged and never received your licence. Contact us and we will either send the code or refund you, whichever you prefer.
- You were charged twice for the same purchase.
- The software does not work on your setup and we cannot fix it. Tell us what is happening and give us a fair chance to help. If we cannot get it working for you, you get your money back.
Ask within 30 days of your purchase, through the contact form, and include your order code.
4. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a monthly or annual subscription at any time. Cancelling stops any future payments. The software keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund part of a period that has already started.
A perpetual licence is a single payment and is not a subscription. There is nothing to cancel.
5. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Union you normally have a 14 day right to withdraw from a purchase. For digital goods delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery begins and you have agreed to it. You give that agreement at checkout when you buy software that downloads straight away.
Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under the law of the country you live in, including the South African Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
6. Who processes your refund
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our software orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries relating to payment and handles returns.
You can contact us first and we will sort it out with Paddle, or you can contact Paddle directly. Refunds are returned to the payment method you paid with, and normally take five to ten working days to appear.
