1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how UPrint Global CC (“UPrint Global”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit uprintglobal.com or contact us. We are based in Durban, South Africa, and serve customers locally and internationally.

We are the responsible party / data controller for the personal information described here. If you have any questions, contact shirley@uprintglobal.com.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and run our business:

  • Details you give us — when you request a demo, a free sample, or contact us via a form, WhatsApp or email: your name, email address, phone number, company and the message or requirements you share.
  • Usage information — pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you reached us. This is collected automatically through cookies and analytics (see section 4).

We do not ask for or store payment card numbers, ID numbers or passwords through this website.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to demo requests, sample requests and enquiries.
  • To provide quotations, products, training and support.
  • To improve our website, products and marketing.
  • To measure the performance of our advertising (see section 4).
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We rely on your consent (when you submit a form or accept cookies) and on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how it is used. This includes:

  • Google Analytics 4 — to see which pages and content are useful, in aggregate.
  • Google Ads — to measure conversions (for example, when a demo request comes from an advert) so we can advertise responsibly.

These tools may set cookies and share limited data with Google as a processor. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Managing how Google uses advertising data is available in your Google Ad Settings.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with trusted providers who help us operate, and only as far as needed:

  • Hosting & forms — our website host and form-handling provider.
  • Google — analytics and advertising measurement, as above.
  • Messaging & email — WhatsApp and our email provider, when you contact us there.

We may also disclose information if required by law. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to provide support and warranty, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under South Africa’s POPIA and the UK/EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update it.
  • Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.
  • Ask that we stop sending you marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these, email shirley@uprintglobal.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data protection authority.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. International visitors

We serve customers worldwide. If you contact us from outside South Africa, your information may be processed in South Africa and by our providers in other countries. We take steps to ensure it remains protected wherever it is handled.

10. Children

Our website and products are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
