How to print on wood
Wood is a beautiful, in-demand surface for signs, boards and gifts. The Diamond Dip silicone-pad method lets you bond a full-colour image to wood without Activator.
Step by step
The workflow.

Print on Silicone Paper
Print your design onto double-sided Silicone Paper.

Dip in Diamond Dip
Dip the printed paper in Diamond Dip, then air-dry 15 minutes (or use a heater at 70°C for 5 minutes).

Apply with a silicone pad
Apply to the wood using a silicone pad at 130°C. On wood you do not need Activator.

Finish and cure
Rub with clean Silicone Paper, clean the edges with methylated spirits and oven-cure at 180°C for 8 minutes.

- →Uncoated wood drinks in chemical; test your timing on an offcut first.
