How to print on stainless steel
Stainless steel drinkware is a premium, high-margin product. Chemical transfer wraps a full-colour image around the curve and fuses it on, with a durability decals and vinyl cannot match.
Step by step
The workflow.

Print onto Marine A Paper
Print artwork plus white onto Marine A Paper for the cylindrical surface.

Fuse and spray
Heat-gun to fuse, then apply two coats of Every X and heat to tacky.

Activate and wrap
Activate the bottle, wrap the prepared paper around the curve and transfer.
- 4
Topcoat and cure
Seal with the appropriate topcoat and cure, then leave 24 hours before use.
Pro tips
- →Degrease the bottle first.
- →For dishwasher-safe drinkware finish, use a Diamond Clear topcoat where suitable.
